This glass terrarium is well suited for many kinds of arboreal reptile or amphibian setups, including tropical, forest, paludariums, artificial, or bioactive. The front-opening doors allow you to easily and safely feed and care for the critters inside - no need to remove any fixtures to access the tank! Approaching from the front, rather than above, also reduces stress for your pets. The screen top allows you to easily place dome and hood lamps on top and provides good ventilation. For super high humidity pets, we recommend purchasing the 18”x18” Exo Terra solid glass top separately to reduce ventilation and more easily keep the humidity above 80%. The foam background replicates a natural rocky wall and is helpful when hardscaping your terrarium. Whether you choose to use live plants, artificial plants, flexible vines, or wood pieces, the foam makes it easy to attach any decor. Simply use wire, toothpicks, skewers, net cups, etc. to fix items to the foam. The cord cavities combined with the closable inlets on the screen top allow plenty of room for any cords or tubing in your setup.
