The Arcadia Deep Heat Projector (DHP) provides essential heat, penetrating deep into the body in a safe and natural way, similar to a standard incandescent flood, but without producing any visible light. This lightless quality makes it a great choice for highly light-sensitive species or as a nighttime heat source for particularly cold enclosures.
The Infrared-A and Infrared-B radiation emitted by DHP’s and incandescent bulbs penetrate heat deep within the muscle tissues, warming the animal throughout just as it would in the wild. Most other lightless heat sources, such as ceramic heat emitters or heat mats, only produce Infrared-C wavelengths, which are far too weak to serve as a primary basking source. The DHP is easily the most natural and beneficial source of lightless heat on the market.
